Vettes at the Point

Sunday was another beautiful day. With the top down we joined others for the poker run to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford. In pairs, we drove the 15 miles and picked our five cards. At the end of the poker run our poker hand was not that strong. Our pair of sevens had no chance. Dad did win a Virginia Corvette Club sweat shirt in the raffle drawing. Next we went over to the National D-Day Memorial were they had a special section reserved for to park. The memorial is very impressive. The Virginia Corvette Club plans on continuing the event next year, which I highly recommend attending.
